Martha Huntington memorial plaque
Martha Huntington was an amazing woman who worked as a preservation architect in Mason City. I got to know her when she served on the State Nominations Review Committee. She is missed.

The Park Inn Hotel and City National Bank opened in 1910 and were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. The hotel is the only remaining Frank Lloyd Wright-designed hotel in the world and the bank is one of two Wright-designed banks still standing. The hotel and bank were rehabilitated in 2011. Book a room and learn more about the restoration. Photos taken by Barbara A.M. Howard in Mason City, Iowa, 2006 and 2017. All rights reserved.
